Description
The Price Pump XJ Series Close Coupled Horizontal Centrifugal Pump consists of three close-coupled centrifugal pump models (XJ100, XJ150, XJ200) designed for industrial and chemical processing applications. These pumps feature discharge connections of 1in, 1.5in, and 2in respectively, all utilizing 150lb centerline ANSI flanged connections. Construction is entirely 316 stainless steel including the volute, impeller, bracket, and shaft sleeve, providing excellent corrosion resistance for chemical service environments.
The series accommodates a maximum impeller diameter of 8.00in, operating temperatures up to 300°F, and working pressures to 200 PSI. The standard 1-1/2in Type 21 mechanical seal uses a Viton elastomer with carbon versus ceramic faces, with optional Type 9 PTFE and Type 21 double-seal configurations plus seal flush and quench options available. Standard NEMA JM motors are offered in open drip-proof, totally enclosed, and explosion-proof enclosures, close coupled through 40 HP. These pumps are designed for demanding applications including water and wastewater treatment, chemical processing, hot solvents, caustics, deionized water, and plating equipment.
