The Price Pump XJ400 Close Coupled Horizontal Centrifugal Pump is a single-model 316 stainless steel centrifugal pump with 4in x 4in x 8.5in dimensions and 150lb centerline ANSI flanged connections. Construction is entirely 316 stainless steel including the volute, impeller, bracket, and shaft sleeve, providing excellent corrosion resistance for demanding chemical service.

The XJ400 accommodates a maximum impeller diameter of 8.50in, operating temperatures to 350°F, and working pressures to 150 PSI (300 PSI with the Type 2 seal option). The standard 1-1/2in Type 21 mechanical seal uses a Viton elastomer with carbon versus ceramic faces, with optional Type 9 PTFE and Type 2 configurations plus seal flush options available. Standard NEMA JM motors (213JM through 365JM) are offered in open drip-proof and totally enclosed enclosures. Typical applications include water and wastewater treatment, chemical processing, hot solvents, caustics, deionized water, and plating equipment.
